Visit Nelson's Apple Farm Gift Shop and relives the past with our antiques on display. How many of you have ever used a "Stub Caster" fishing rod? Or filled a kerosene lamp using a glass lined kerosene can? You will totally enjoy the display and the fun of guessing what the different items were used for.

In the gift shop you will find a wide variety of items for your family or for that special occasion gift. These include preserves, butters, soups, salsas, honey, kitchen items, cookbooks, apple corers, caramel dip and more.

Nelson's Apple Farm features home made fudge from a century old recipe given to us by a friend from the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas . She also taught us the special techniques required to make it the proper consistency so that it melts in your mouth. Several variations to the basic fudge recipe are used to meet your specific taste needs. These include: pecan and walnut.

For those of you who like Minnesota produced cheese, Nelson's Apple Farm features a wide range of cheese. These are supplied from a small cheese factory in central Minnesota that raises the cows for the milk and makes many varieties of cheese. Some of the cheeses have aged for over seven years. Some of the choices include the following: Cheddar, Gouda , Mozzarella, curds, spreads and more.

We also have a maple syrup producer from northern Minnesota that supplies us with Minnesota Grown Maple syrup. Add this to your favorite pancakes and you will have something out of this world.

Many of you will remember our Apple Dandies© that Nelson's Apple Farm served hot at the local county fairs a few years back. We continue to have requests for this unique product which we invented in 1994. Apple Dandies© are a slice of a Red Haralson apple dipped into a special batter, deep fried and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. We have installed the equipment necessary to make them while you watch. Apple Dandies© can only be found at Nelson's Apple Farm. No other orchard in the country has them. Mini donuts are also available. Both of these items are available on weekends only.
