Activities at Nelson's Apple Farm

• Leisurely stroll through our 20 acre apple orchard, 12 acre Christmas tree farm or 5 acres of nature wildlife preserve. It is not necessary to purchase the " Fun Fee Pass " in order to enjoy the outdoor experience or pick apples from our trees. The apples that you pick will be weighed and you will be charged for the apples by the pound.
• Bring home a part of your experience at Nelsons Apple Farm with something special from our apple store gift shop. We also have pre-picked apples, jams and jellies, honey, apple pies and much more.
• Try our famous Nelson's Apple Farm caramel apple or caramel apple sundae. (Apple sundaes are served on weekends only)
• Select pumpkins from our large selection on the front porch.

FUN FEE PASSES

• Experience all of the above activities plus the following activities with the purchase of a Fun Fee Pass. These passes can be purchased at the store and during busy times at the ticket booths.
• Visit the farm animals on display. We generally have a calf, goat, chickens, ducks, rabbits and when available puppies and kittens for all to see. Self serving food dispensers for the animals are available. A natural duck pond is included as well as the 5 acre nature wildlife area.
• You can ride the tractor pulled wagons to the apple orchard for picking apples, the pumpkin patch, nature wildlife preserve, and Christmas tree farm and to the 7 acres corn maze. The rides run on a schedule of every twenty minutes and a round trip generally lasts 20 to 30 minutes. The rides start at the apple store and return to the apple store. Tractor rides on weekends only.
• You can get lost in our 7 acre corn maze. The walk is just over 1.5 miles, but there is a shortened route for those who don't have the time for the full experience. Most guests spend 20 - 30 minutes exploring the twists and turns within the maze. Very few can walk through the maze without getting lost at lease once by the hidden dead ends. Please read the message about the maze on the wall in the store - the kids will enjoy the humor and the hidden messages.
• Younger kids will enjoy the cornstalk tunnel. This event requires the kids to crawl on their hands and knees through a darkened tunnel of corn stalks. Kids love it.
• Hot dogs, chips, popcorn, caramel apples and other goodies can be purchased from our apple kitchen for eating on the patio or at the picnic tables throughout the Fun Fee Pass area.
• Nelson's Apple Farm has golf ball putting called "Practice Putt©". A fun activity where you can try your skills at putting golf balls into the hole. The putting hole is designed so that the level of skill required can be modified each week so it never gets old.
